Dental Implants Treatment

Dental Implants are Metal fixtures or screws or posts that are surgically placed into the Jawbone beneath your gums. Once in place, and fixed with the bone the dentist will replace the teeth onto them.
  • A dental implant is placed in the position of the root of the tooth. Once dental implants are surgically secured in the jawbone it is not visible.
  • Dental implants are made of Titanium and are Lightweight and Biocompatible. Crowns (the parts of teeth seen in the mouth), bridgework or dentures are fabricated on top of it.
  • The scientific and biological concept behind the success of implants is that Titanium has a special property of fusing to bone, called osseointegration (“osseo” – bone; “integration” – fusion or joining with).
  • When teeth are lost or removed the bone that supported those teeth is also lost . Placing dental implants helps stabilizing the bone and preventing its loss
  • Implants not only replaces the lost teeth but also helps maintain the face structure Because it help in preserving the facial bones. It also restores the function of chewing food.
  • You can replace missing tooth or teeth with implants if u have a good amount of bone and healthy gums. Single implant can restore single missing tooth or a Bridge can be made onto multiple implants in case of missing two or more teeth.
Advantages of dental implants :
  • With dental implants no one can tell you are wearing a dental prosthesis. It is the most natural looking replacement we have got in our clinic.
  • Dental implants maintains bone structure and prevents bone loss as it reacts to chewing forces in the same way of a natural tooth.
  • It helps maintain a youthful appearance as it supports facial bones and structures like original teeth.
  • There's no restriction on eating , you can have whatever you like. Implants restores speech which is normally altered after loosing front teeth. Oral hygiene maintenance is efficient after dental implants same as with original teeth .Thus it helps in preventing future dental health problems.
  • We donot have to rely on healthy adjacent teeth for replacement of teeth and can avoid treatment of otherwise healthy teeth for a bridge.
